------_=_NextPart_001_01C5CE49.18D6AC78 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi all,=20 =20 I am using NET-SNMP-5.1.1. 'snmpd' generates coldStart trap the moment it comes up. I want to hijack this trap, and wants one of my application to generate this trap. Is there a specific startup parameter with which I need to start snmpd, to achieve this? Is there a MIB variable to be set?=20 =20 In the base code of snmpd, the call to generate trap is not protected in any compile time flag, which could mean that there is no configure input for this.=20 =20 Any experiences towards this will be greatly appreciated.=20 Thanks Mahesh =20 ------_=_NextPart_001_01C5CE49.18D6AC78 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

<META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2800.1498" name=3DGENERATOR>

<FONT = face=3DArial><FONT=20 color=3D#0000ff>Hi all,=20

<FONT = face=3DArial><FONT=20 color=3D#0000ff><SPAN=20 class=3D442244409-11102005> </DIV= >
<FONT = face=3DArial><FONT=20 color=3D#0000ff>I am = using=20 NET-SNMP-5.1.1.
