Default run time exception on init-snmp in VC++

Hi,

I have compiled the tutorial sample application with
V1 under MicroSoft Visual Studio C++ 6.0 compiler.
With the following settings:
- MultiThreaded DLL for the application.
- Library directory pointing to
win32/lib/release/netsnmp.lib
- Manually have copied over the
win32/lib/release/netsnmp.lib into the same directory
as my test application executable

It compiles and links with no error.

But when I run it, I get Application Error:
The instruction at "0x7801240c" referenced memory at
"0x77ff9000". The memory could not be "read".

I appreciate if any one can help?

Also, my plan is to figure out how to compile and run
using the C++ and then figure out how to compile and
run in Visual Basic.

Are there any code available for VB?

Thanks
S. A.
