--=_alternative 007488808625700C_= Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Can someone lend some insight into our Authentification Trap issue? We have a device that does not allow us to disable authentification traps. The trap receiver is set to ignor the abundant authentification traps sent. However, we would like to have this function disabled so that the messages are not sent. This is in a very large environment. The questions are: What triggers all these traps? Is is normal to just disable this feature? Why? Thanks John Adam IBM, Inc. --=_alternative 007488808625700C_= Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII"
Can someone lend some insight into our Authentification Trap issue?

We have a device that does not allow us to disable authentification traps.
The trap receiver is set to ignor the abundant authentification traps sent.
However, we would like to have this function disabled so that the messages are not sent.
This is in a very large environment.

The questions are: What triggers all these traps?
Is is normal to just disable this feature?
