Using 'trapsess'

Hello,

On last Friday I checked out a copy of Net-SNMP from the CVS, I am able
to build and run successfully. With this version I tried to send a
SNMP-V3 trap. I could able to send the trap to the destination with the
following entry in the snmpd.conf.

trapsess -v 3 -a MD5 -A sridhar123 -l authPriv -u sridhar -x DES -X
sridhar456 110.91.82.8:8162

I am getting following error when trap receiver program (snmptrapd) is
not running at the port number 8162.

/home/ssridhar/.snmp/snmpd.conf: line 2: Error: snmpd: failed to parse
this line or the remote trap receiver is down. Possible cause:
snmpd: snmpd_parse_config_trapsess(): Timeout

Is there any other way to send SNMPv3 trap ?

Any inputs ?
