Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_Part_32372_21350653.1200012921894" ------=_Part_32372_21350653.1200012921894 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Hi, I have a problem trying to dinamically load a private mib into NET-SNMP version 5.2.1.2. -I already create my template using mib2c, include my code and built the shared object using the make command without problems. -I copied the mib file to my mibs directory and was able to read one of my mib's object oid using snmptranslate command. -I used the dlmod token to include both my modules name and the full pathname. However, after re launching the agent, if I used the snmpwalk command I noticed that my mib wasn't loaded and of course if I specifically ask for one of my mib variables,I receive an END OF MIB response. I relaunch my agent enabling debugging for dlomd and it seems to be loading my object without problems, so why my MIB doesn't appeared with the snmpwalk command??? I'm sorry if this is a very basic problem, but I looked around in lots of info and I simply can't figure out what I'm missing. Thanks in advance Alejandro ------=_Part_32372_21350653.1200012921894 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Hi, I have a problem trying to dinamically load a private mib into
NET-SNMP version 5.2.1.2.
-I already create my template using mib2c, include my code and built the
shared object using the make command without problems.
-I copied the mib file to my mibs directory and was able to read one of
my mib's object oid using snmptranslate command.
-I used the dlmod token to include both my modules name and the full
pathname.
However, after re launching the agent, if I used the snmpwalk command I
noticed that my mib wasn't loaded and of course if I specifically ask
for one of my mib variables,I receive an END OF MIB response.
I relaunch my agent enabling debugging for dlomd and it seems to be
loading my object without problems, so why my MIB doesn't appeared with
the snmpwalk command???
I'm sorry if this is a very basic problem, but I looked around in lots
of info and I simply can't figure out what I'm missing.
