You recommended I get the v5.4.1 prerelease to find the fix, which I did and the file now compiles. However, after applying this fix, I am now encountering new errors .... a lot of them: The errors are in the form of: "snmpd.o:1: error: stray '\177' in program" I have not received any recommendation from you which indicates how to fix these "error stray" errors. I apologize if I missed it or somehow overlooked it.
