Hmmmm.....

In which case, can I suggest that you take a little time to try
*using* SNMP to monitor your systems, before diving into
the murky depths of implementing a new MIB module.

You are always going to struggle to understand how the
internals work, if you don't first have a clear understanding
of what the basic job of the agent actually is.

The questions you have been asking are the sort of things
we'd expect to be getting from someone with a couple of years
network management experience, who now wants to take this
further. Expecting to pick this up from scratch is somewhat
unrealistic, IMO.
