SNMP.pm silent version change?

I'm puzzled about the latest change to SNMP.pm:

http://net-snmp.cvs.sourceforge.net/...1=5.81&r2=5.82

Can this please be commented on? Given the versioning of the Perl modules in the
other branches (and the other Perl modules in the same branch), I'm not sure
about the reason of this change. The corresponding commit log message "clean up
compile and fix tests" isn't too helpful, either. :-/
