You haven't heard from me for a while - I was on vacation ;-) Here's what I was able to do recently: I didn't have time to test it on Linux, though, but I succesfully built and = run the whole thing on Solaris 9 instead - if it works on Solaris, and you = say it works for you on Linux, I'm sure I could do this too on mine @home. So, this looks like some Windows-specific issue - I had some time to = experiment and it not only fails to run properly using 5.3.1 "official" = version from windows installer, but also on my own, private build built wit= h = MS VC++ Express 2005.
