I'm not fully au fait with the background to this discussion, so aren't totally clear about what the issues actually are. But the question that immediately sprang to mind was - would this only apply to tokens that we explicitly define ourselves? What would we do (if anything) with tokens that were defined automatically by the vendor-supplied compiler environment?
