Test 36 and test 37 never create directories:

My last configure was:

../configure --enable-embedded-perl --enable-shared
--with-mib-modules="host ucd-snmp/diskio agentx" --with-cc=gcc
--with-perl-modules --enable-developer

I am wondering if I should back down a perl version or two? Any
thoughts on this?

I don't really get daemons crashing, the perl NetSNMP::agent subagent
script just never registers with the master agent.
