i got the following ruslt when i tried to query

[root@rain ~]# snmpwalk -c <community> -v 1 <ip address> ifDescr
Timeout: No Response from <ip address>

my snmp version is=20
NET-SNMP version: 5.1.3.1
Web: http://www.net-snmp.org/
Email: net-snmp-coders@lists.sourceforge.net

i tried installing different net-snmp version but i still geting the =
same prompt. =20

i even tried it on red hat 9 and centOS but still the same

please help
