It was the *starting* point of the discussion, but we're now also
discussing (for 5.3) whether/how to rework solaris*.h entirely.

As for "nothing broke": did you look *especially* at the affected MIB
module's objects? The changes may be subtle or even not be user-visible
under all circumstances, but these setting will quite likely at least
cause the agent to follow different code paths.
