Hopefully our windows gurus can speak up as to why this is > so. Windows XP with service pack 1 includes a production quality version of IPv6. There is IPv6 support before sp1, but it is not considered production quality. See: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...mplementations There is a Windows 2000 'technology preview' but it is not considered production by Microsoft. See: http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/...orm/tpipv6.asp The README.win32 file states that Windows 98 or higher is needed for IPv6, but I don't think there is a Windows 98 IPv6 implementation from Microsoft. If I am wrong, please let me know. The README.win32 file should be updated. I can create another Windows binary with IPv6 support and we can post both of them. Any objections to having two Windows binaries? I would also like to have OpenSSL support in the binary as there is a pre-compiled OpenSSL DLL available (so we will not have to include it with our binary). This would mean we would need FOUR binaries..
