[Samba] Samba Server stops responding every 5 minutes

Hi,
I recently upgraded my samba installation from 3.0.13c to 3.0.31 (debian
testing). Now the server stops responding every five minutes.
The logfiles tell me the following:
log.$servername
[2008/08/21 16:24:38, 0] groupdb/mapping.c:pdb_create_builtin_alias(739)
pdb_create_builtin_alias: Could not add group mapping entry for alias
544 (NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL)
[2008/08/21 16:24:38, 0] auth/auth_util.c:create_builtin_administrators(844)
create_builtin_administrators: Failed to create Administrators

log.nmbd
[2008/08/21 16:24:13, 0] libsmb/clientgen.c:cli_receive_smb(111)
Receiving SMB: Server stopped responding
[2008/08/21 16:24:26, 0] libsmb/clientgen.c:cli_receive_smb(111)
Receiving SMB: Server stopped responding
[2008/08/21 16:24:38, 0] libsmb/clientgen.c:cli_receive_smb(111)
Receiving SMB: Server stopped responding

I tried some things (restarting, adding winbind) but without success.
Now I'm out of wits. Do you have an idea what could cause this behaviour?

Has no one an idea on this subject? What information could I provide to
shed light into this issue?
