[Samba] why is Winbind dead ??

Hey list,

i need winbind to work in order to be able to authenticate freeradius users against active dirctory Freeradius runs Ok.
operating systeme is SUSE 10.3


My domain settings are:

Workgroup = PLUTON
dnsdomainname = galaxi.ensias
dc = jupiter.galaxi.ensias

i am not able to use wbinfo cause winbind is dead.
on "service winbind start"
i obtain "Starting Samba WINBIND daemon failed"

i tried to delete the file "/var/run/samba/winbindd.pid" but at a start attemp, it is the same results.

What permissions do you have on
/var/lib/samba/winbindd_privileged? You might want to remove
that directory and start winbind again.
