I've forgotten the command to add a new XP PC to a Samba network, it's not a
domain network. I know I need to add the PC to the network and the user. If the user is already in the password list do I just edit the passwd file, he is getting a new PC. Just set the correct workgroup name in windows. > I know I need to add the PC to the network and the user. > If the user is already in the password list do I just edit the passwd file, > he is getting a new PC. > If the user is in the password list there is no change needed.
