I have tried everything I can to find a solution to this. I can wbinfo
-g or -u or even -n but when I try to use Wbinfo -r to get the group of a user it fails and gives this error =20 Could not get groups for user XYZ =20 Any ideas would be most appreciative. My smb.conf config follows.. Also I don't know if this has any merit to this problem but getent group doesn't pull back anything except the builtin group in ADS =20 =20 [global] workgroup =3D DOMAIN realm =3D DOMAIN.LOCAL server string =3D Squid Proxy security =3D ADS client schannel =3D No allow trusted domains =3D No password server =3D XXX.XXX.local passdb backend =3D tdbsam log level =3D 12 preferred master =3D No idmap domains =3D VALTIM idmap backend =3D idmap_ad idmap alloc backend =3D tdb idmap uid =3D 10000-300000000 idmap gid =3D 10000-300000000 template shell =3D /bin/bash winbind enum users =3D Yes winbind enum groups =3D Yes winbind use default domain =3D Yes winbind trusted domains only =3D Yes idmap alloc config:range =3D 10000 - 300000000 idmap config VALTIM:range =3D 10000 - 300000000 idmap config VALTIM:default =3D yes idmap config VALTIM:backend =3D ad idmap config VALTIM:schema_mode =3D rfc2307 cups options =3D raw =20 =20 =20 ------------------------- Brian Fertig -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba |
