[Samba] only vfs logging not working

hi,
i read in:
http://us2.samba.org/samba/docs/man/...html#id2617119
that the vfs logging can be turn on by seting like this:
log level = 0 vfs:2
although if i set
log level = 2
it's working. is it not working by default or should i have to anything
else?
