[Samba] vfs audit logs

Dear all

I have samba 3.0.21 with openldap , i have created a share for which i have
enabled vfs objects.
i have given the following in the share
[myshare]
comment =3D my project
path =3D /project
writeable =3D yes
printable =3D no
force create mode =3D 0660
force directory mode =3D 0770
inherit permissions =3D yes
vfs objects =3D audit

and in global section of smb.conf i have give the following
log level =3D 2 vfs:1
log file =3D /usr/local/samba/var/%U.%m.log
syslog =3D 0
but still i get the vfs audit in syslog ie in /var/log/messages
i would like to get the audit in logfile =3D /usr/local/samba/var/%U.%m.log

please guide me
