hi,
i played around with ethereal a bit, looks like samba is trying to resolve GANDALF, the ethereal entry: source: my ip, dest: nameserver, protocol: dns info: standard query A GANDALF im very sure i've used the name GANDALF for nothing else except my netbios name.
