Hi Pontus,
I have not found a solution to that problem. However I only have to restart samba to get it to reconnect to the domain, rather then reboot, which of course is a real pain if not at work! I got an email off list from another guy who has had the same problems but did not post to the list. I will email him to see if he has found a solution yet Olly "Pontus Ullgren" <samba.org@pontus.ullgren.com> wrote in message news:42406.194.103.240.26.1127896004.squirrel@webm ail.ullgren.com... Hello, I have a problem that seems to be similar as Ollivers (http://article.gmane.org/gmane.netwo...general/61240/) but I cant find any answer to his question. After a network outage the samba server can't "reconnect" even after a _reboot_ of the whole server. I'm running Debian stable Samba 3.0.14a-3. The message I get in log.windbindd ----- [2005/09/28 10:10:54, 1] nsswitch/winbindd_group.c:fill_grent_mem(134) could not lookup membership for group rid S-1-5-21-1708537768-682003330-725345543-18103 in domain AF (error: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED) [2005/09/28 10:10:55, 1] nsswitch/winbindd_group.c:fill_grent_mem(134) could not lookup membership for group rid S-1-5-21-1708537768-682003330-725345543-18103 in domain AF (error: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED) ----- # wbinfo -s S-1-5-21-1708537768-682003330-725345543-18103 AF+GEO SE KSD 2 ----- net rpc -S afseksddc1.af.se testjoin Join to 'AF' is OK ----- Time is synced with the AD server.
