analysing rsync logs.

Hi folks..

this is the first item on this list so I hope I'm not asking a FAQ.

I'm pretty new to this logfile analysis stuff.. but want to write a
script (possibly in perl) to work out if all of the desktop machines I
have running synctonas are getting backedup properly.

No idea where to start though...

Can anyone point me to a script that is already started to do something
like this?
