Hiya. I am using rsync to synchronize about 26 gig of files from one
system to a failover system. I have cron run a script once every hour, and I send stdout and stderr to a log file. I turned on -v but that makes and entry for each file backed up. Great for troubleshooting a problem file, but fills my logs to omuch otherwise. I like the output -v has at the end: wrote 18887304 bytes read 10072350 bytes 39916.82 bytes/sec total size is 26824503265 speedup is 926.27 Is there a way to get just this output into my log somehow, whitout all the ther stuff? thanks! googleboy |
