opendir server: Permission denied

Hi,

I'm testing rsync for Solaris 8.
Basic config of /etc/rsyncd.conf to sync files from one host to other,
it fails with next message:

opendir server: Permission denied

in some directories.

I launch it as root.

Any idea about ?
