[rrd-users] every second this happens

Every second root receives this mail message

The email lists several entries like this:

ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1208558340 when last update
time is 1208559120 (minimum one second step)

+ rrdtool update localstats.rrd N:1:0.08:0.06:0.10:0.0784818878294944

In cron.d this entry exists
vi /etc/cron.d/rrdtool.sh
#!/bin/sh
#

* * * * * root /usr/local/bin/rrdtool/update.pl

Can someone explain to me what is happening and how to fix this illegal
attempt message?
