[rrd-users] Inputting older data a la the tutorial

Hi folks. I'm following the rrdtool tutorial and trying to create an
rrd that will accept data from older points in time, ie; from ~30 days
ago til now. The rrd will accept data once a day (86400 sec), and I'm
trying to input each days value for the last 30 days.
When I do a fetch, I get nans.

The rrd creation:

rrdtool create chat.rrd --step 86400 --start 1204093125 \
DS:chat:GAUGE:86400:0:10000 RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:1440 \
