It is not a >>>graphing<<< tool.
It is a >>>logging and graphing<<< tool.

RRDtool is not designed to graph data that you feed it. See my site,
the part about normalization and consolidation.

This normalization and consolidation is the reason that RRDtool exists.
RRDtool doesn't harm your numbers, it changes them by design.

If you are looking for nothing more than a graphing tool, you should
look for something else.
