Default [rrd-users] is rrd appropriate for my purpose?

Hello,

we are using nfdump tool, which stores netflow data in rrd database.
But we need to store this data for a longer time - one year history or
sth. like this, so the size of rrd file will be aproximately around
6TB/year.

Do you think that rrd format is suitable for this purpose? Or would be
there some problem with so big rrd file? Is better to use some other
storing format than rrd?

Thank
Vojta
