Should be fairly simple. I would say to create it with the same
defaults as a regular MRTG installation (5 minute, 30 minute,
2 hour, 1 day RRAs), but extend the 5 minute RRA out for 400
days. This way, you get the picture of overall growth as well
as additional detail when you need it.

This will be running on a Solaris 2.9 system with both the mail
pull/processing and the publishing of data present on the system.
