Like I said, your opinion is meaningless in this thread.

>Not only did you insult Google users, but most AOL users as well. Most AOL users _are_ idiots. You want to read a bit about AOL's Usenet history and the reason why they received at least one UDP request over the years. Actually, Google extended the archives significantly
after it acquired DejaNews and continues to do expand it. The announcement I posted was issued about a year after the DejaNews acquisition. -- Tom Stewart, ATC Michael Fesser <netizen@gmx.de> wrote: > .oO(Tom Stewart) > >>And of course, Google has done the most to preserve Usenet, >>with their indexing of millions of messages dating back to >>1981: > > They've just taken over what others have created. Insulting millions of people who happen to use
a particular ISP you dislike isn't helping your case. And continuing to post replies to someone you claim to have plonked suggests you don't know what the term means. -- Tom Stewart, ATC Michael Fesser <netizen@gmx.de> wrote: > .oO(Tom Stewart) > >>Not only did you insult Google users, but most AOL users as well. > > Most AOL users _are_ idiots. And with a proper newsreader you would know that there are various killfile options. Currently your postings are just marked as read, but thanks for reminding me that I should probably increase the level and let them be deleted automatically. Micha |
