Can I import RSS feed into MySQL db?

There are numerous forum discussions on displaying an RSS feed on a
PHP web site and on creating an RSS feed from a MySQL database but I
would like to know how to import an RSS feed into a MySQL database.

Would someone please enlighten me on what a hacker beacon is and what
is wrong with my post? It's a functional question that was posed to
