When a sample of Iowa farmers were asked about the effect of
increasing the amount of daylight savings time this year, a fair
number said that it would make the summer hotter because there
would be more sunlight to warm the earth. They were evenly
divided if this was a good thing or not.

Sorry, but that can be pretty sensitive to those of us who grew up in
Iowa - and have had people believe it as a fact, not a joke.
