Default PHP enabled per virtual host

Hi,

I am running Fedora Core 5 and Apache 2.2 at present with no
PHP support. I'd like to however add PHP but disable it globally
and enable it per virtual host in my Apache httpd.conf file.

Is this possible and if so how would it best be done ?

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated as I have been
unable to find any info searching google / forums.
(I'd like to do this without using ISPConfig or similar web admin tools).

Thank you,

Wayne.
