I was surprised the other day when looking for a PHP host that there
are still many free hosting services. More than ever, in fact. But there's a catch with many (that seems reasonable, considering it still doesn't cost anything moneywise). You have to post messages to their forums. Why is that? I found some dozen or so that offered hosting as long as you post messages. Something's afoot, methinks. What does the host get out of all those messages? How do they benefit? |
