I think, # is called a pound sign and £ is properly called a sterling
pound sign, if I recall correctly.

Never used it?

I'd never even noticed it before..! (in 30yrs of using the keyboard I'd
just assumed the logo was a typo which got carried over from generation
of keyboard manufacturer to the nest manufacturer)

I shall now polish it up and worship it every day :-)

What else is it used for folks? Can it remove earwax or cure gout?
