PHP < 4.1:
print "hello".$somebody."<br><br>how are you doing";

PHP >= 4.1:
print "hello".$HTTP_GET_VARS["somebody"]."<br><br>how are you doing";

PHP >= 4.2:
print "hello".$_GET["somebody"]."<br><br>how are you doing";

there are other ways, that I don't want to teach you, because I think
they're bad. People that like them can do that.

HTH,

Jochen
