upgrading from php5.0.5 to 5.1.0

I seem to have a little problem with setting it up. I dont think its my
fault though. I downloaded the php-5.1.0-win32.zip file from
php.net/downloads.php and when i deleted the 5.0.5 files from c:\php
and copied and pasted the new files in from the zip package and i
changed php.ini-recommended to php.ini, i went to my phpinfo page on
localhost and it said 5.1.0rc3 on top. I think the mirror hasnt updated
the files yet but it says its from 5.1 and it also says that when i try
to uncomment the mysql extension of any extension, the build api is
off. the php5apache2.dll is from back a couple of months ago.
