Help needed

Please can someone explain how to use PHP. Any explainations would
really have to given in basic steps.

PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially
suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML. If you are new to
PHP and want to get some idea of how it works, try the introductory
tutorial. After that, check out the online manual, and the example archive
sites and some of the other resources available in the links section.

Lisa, this is in the left top left column at http://www.php.net and the
words "introductory tutorial" are a link that will explain php to you.
Also, the words "online manual" are a link that will take you to the manual.
