PHP version 4.4.7 on my ISP

So, phptest.php on my ISP server returned:

4.4.7

And I know Version 5 is out. Any compatibility problems?

Is there anything I need to know before proceeding to install PHP/
Apache/MySQL on my Windows XP machine?
