After installing MySQL as part of the MAMP.package, to run with PHP
and Apache under OS X. "I checked the error log, and keep getting "unknown option --enable- named-pipes" error on startup. Any thoughts? Running a MacBook Pro, 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo, 2 GB ram, 120 GB hd, OS X 10.5.2, MySQL community server 6.0.4 alpha. HELP!!!! |

That's a Windows option. Use a socket instead. -- 5.
