I'm trying to use the same mysqld-nt.exe file in the same /bin folder
to start multiple MySQL services on Windows. * I use mysqld-nt.exe --install to install services * I use different service names * I use different --defaults-file parameter (where I setup different port and database location) When I run one service the second one always terminates itself. Thanks, Anton |

Did you change the socket name and/or port number in the defaults file? Sockets and ports can't be shared by different instances of MySQL. -- ( Kees ) c[_] I used up all my sick days, so I'm calling in dead. (#420) |

(#420) The port and the path to the database are different. What is the socket? |

(#420) I use different port number values and different path to the database in my .ini files. What are sockets? |
