Visual Studio - Dataset - net connector

I downloaded the net connector for visual studio. However, the
tableadapter doesn't auto generate a update or delete statement when I
drag and drop a table from the explorer window to a dataset.
Everything else works fine. Is this behavior correct?

I'm using the latest adapter 5.1.4.
