I wonder how someone without access to newsgroups would get this
information... i wonder if any websites have the answer within a click or

Wow, do you mean the OP could just have typed those 4 words from his
original posting into this Google thing and he could have found the answer
immediately?

But is this Google thing well known? Maybe he has lived in a cave for this
past decade?

dude! i've never heard of google. who is he? and, how do i get my typewriter

That's an out of date blog posting from 2004. That table also says
that the MEMORY engine doesn't support Unicode. Is that still true?

john, i think you've missed the point entirely. iow, there is sufficient
coverage of the topic simply by using a search engine. for anyone here to be
expected to answer that would be an exercise in exasperation.
