Default INCREASE the max blob size

Hello guys,

i am developing a web application where i am using mysql as my rdbms.
i was wondering if we can increase the max blob size that mysql can
handle; currently its 2M.

Maybe switch to another type
LONGBLOB: 2^32 or 4294967296 bytes (4 GiB)

But I would have stored the data directly on the file system and only stored
the path in the database.
