Default A few questions from a newbie for someone who knows there stuff

I am trying to create a reservation interface for my website. I would
like for people to be able to check for availability then make a
reservation. I have looked at several php and mysql tutorials. I
understand the basics. I created the current reservation system I use
in Access. So I have a good understanding of databases and how they
work. I know what I want to accomplish. What I would like is to be
able to ask someone who is knowledgeable in mysql a few questions. I
need someone who really knows the ins and outs. Not just how to
collect or display information I get that. If you are such a person
and you wouldn't mind me running a few questions by you. You can email
me at Daniel_Oyler@irco.com. Thanks for help!

Welcome to usenet - where people answer questions and share their
expertise in public for the benefit of all.

You might be surprised to find that in the entire world, you aren't the
only person who knows access but needs a hand with mysql. Rather asking
someone who really knows the ins and outs of mysql to spend time privately
answering your questions, only to have them turn around and spend time
privately answering those same questions for me, then privately answering
those same questions for the next person, why not save their time and just
post the questions here? As a bonus, those answers (and questions) become
a searchable archive for future use. Such a deal!

Try your questions here first.
