Default pcre libraries


I'm new to mysql and was trying to compile the admin tool. The configure
script complains about something called "pcre libraries". What is that?

I'm using Solaris 10 64bit on an AMD chip.

Perl-Compatible Regular Expressions.

What's the configure script complaining about? Absence of the PCRE
library on your system? I think you can get PCRE for Intel-compatible
Solaris 10 here:
