--===============0320301518== Content-class: urn:content-classes:message Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----_=_NextPart_001_01C8AFC3.2FA28C58" This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------_=_NextPart_001_01C8AFC3.2FA28C58 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable The cfgmaker script pulls the MaxBytes value from the router/switch MIB. If your device is reporting incorrect MaxBytes values (some routers/switches require this to be set manually) then that's what cfgmaker will use (I had this problem with some frame relay routers once). =20 You probably also want to make sure that you are using SNMPv2 not SNMPv1 since the issue may be here. Make sure you have the :::::2 SNMP options set when you call cfgmaker. =20 Steve =20 =20 I wanted to know how can I change this default value so all the Mrtg graphs come with the MaxBytes value of 10Mbits. =20 Is it something in the cfgmaker script that needs to be altered? =20 =20 ------_=_NextPart_001_01C8AFC3.2FA28C58 Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <html xmlns:o=3D"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" = xmlns:w=3D"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" = xmlns=3D"http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40"> <head> <META HTTP-EQUIV=3D"Content-Type" CONTENT=3D"text/html; = charset=3Dus-ascii"> <meta name=3DGenerator content=3D"Microsoft Word 11 (filtered medium)"> <style> <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink {color:blue; text-decoration:underline;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:purple; text-decoration:underline;} p {mso-margin-top-alt:auto; margin-right:0cm; mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto; margin-left:0cm; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} span.EmailStyle17 {mso-style-type:personal; font-family:Arial; color:windowtext;} span.EmailStyle19 {mso-style-type:personal-reply; font-family:Arial; color:navy;} @page Section1 {size:595.3pt 841.9pt; margin:70.85pt 3.0cm 70.85pt 3.0cm;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --> </style> </head> <body lang=3DEN-GB link=3Dblue vlink=3Dpurple> <div class=3DSection1> <p class=3DMsoNormal><font size=3D2 color=3Dnavy face=3DArial><span = style=3D'font-size: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>The cfgmaker script pulls the = MaxBytes value from the router/switch MIB.
