Thanks for the reply. I believe I have KeepAlive off for this browser.
In my ssl.conf file I have:

SetEnvIf User-Agent ".*MSIE.*" \
nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown \
downgrade-1.0 force-response-1.0
