Default Using Environment Variables Inside an SSLRequire regex statement

I havn't found a way to do regex comparisons using variables inside the
regex statement, somthing like:
"%{REQUEST_URI} =~ m#/%{SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_CN}/#"
doesn't seem to work as expected.

Is it possible to use variables inside regex statements? If so can
someone provide me with the syntax or an example?
